Hello there! My name is Barbara and I am the baker behind La Ganache Macarons. Thank you so much for stopping by!
I started baking macarons in 2010 back in Brazil. Yes, you guessed it right, I'm Brazilian! I always loved baking and, right as I had left my corporate job, I came across these delicate delicious treats in a trip to Paris. It was love at first sight!
These little treasures turned out to be far more challenging than their elegant appearance suggested! But that's part of the beauty, isn't it? Mastering their secrets brought me immense satisfaction. After several courses and much persistence, I was able to bake them to perfection. Soon I started sharing them with friends and family... They were a hit!! In 2011, I decided to start my own business and my macarons were the stars of many celebrations and special events!
Fast forward to 2014, and my family embarked on a new adventure in the California sunshine. Baking took a backseat for a while as we settled in and welcomed our second daughter. But the creative spark never truly extinguished, and in 2019, La Ganache Macarons made a sweet comeback!
